            B&B Saddlery is committed to providing the highest quality goods and the highest quality service at an appropriate price to our customers. We specialize in personalized service, custom orders, hard to find items and technical assistance.  We staff our stores with highly trained individuals who bring their varied experiences in the horse industry to the B & B Saddlery team. As serious equestrians, we are passionate about horses and horse sports. At B & B Saddlery, we believe that, at any level, beginner to professional, the customer, whether it is the individual or the horse, deserves the best, most appropriate equipment, gear, or accessories. Sarah Becker -- Owner

            Sarah is 37 years old and has her BA with Honors in English and Spanish Literature from Mount Holyoke College, and her MFA in Creative Writing from University of Maryland. She also holds certificates in Jewelry Fabrication and Design from Studio Jewelers in NYC and in Theater from The Acting Studio in NYC. She has ridden and shown equitation horses, show hunters and jumpers since she was 9. Sarah trained as a junior rider with Leo Conroy and Scott Evans. As an amateur she has trained with Carol Thompson and Callan Solem of Quiet Winter, Bob Braswell of Quiet HIll, and, for the past six years, with Frank Madden and Max Amaya of Beacon Hill.  Currently, she is showing two of her mares successfully at the top circuits in the Amateur Owner Jumper ranks. Sarah built B&B Saddlery from the beginning and has designed and built both stores and the mobile unit.

Jennifer is 32 years old and has her BS in Finance from University of Rhode Island and her BS in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Equine Science from Rutgers University. She has worked in every aspect since childhood, in her family's business, Pitman Company the leading graphic arts distributor in America.; She worked as a Veterinary Technician at NJ Equine Clinic assisting in all aspects of orthopedic surgeries and recovery care. She was also employed as an Emergency Technician at Red Bank Animal Hospital, the largest small animal hospital in the country, with over 65 working veterinarians. She has ridden and shown equitation horses, show hunters, and jumpers since the age of 13. During college, Jennifer was Treasurer and Captain of The URI Equestrian team.

She showed in the Amateur Owner Jumper Division for many years on her horse Import 21 - famous for jumping courses at 4'6" possessing only his right eye. She is also a certified Equine Massage Therapist having the privilege of working on B & B Saddlery's Church Road. Jennifer started with B & B Saddlery in 2003 as the Mobile Unit Manager. As Mobile Unit Manager she and her staff increased net sales by 100%.
